Client On-Site Training
PTV America offers customized training for all PTV Vision Suite®
software. The same training formats used in public training sessions
are typically used for private, customized sessions.
Examples of VISSIM customized training topics include toll plazas,
railroad preemption, NEMA virtual controller (PTV America’s actuated
controller emulator), transit signal priority, VAP (vehicle actuated
programming language), VisVAP, VISSIM 3D Modeler, ramp metering, and
freeway modeling techniques. Examples of the VISUM customized training
topics include activity-based models, transit assignment, transit
cost-revenue analysis, and mode choice models. Extra days may also be
added to the training package for PTV America instructors to help your
staff initiate your simulation or planning project.
The custom training can be scheduled to meet your project deadline but generally
requires at least a four-week notice for scheduling. PTV America offers
two custom training packages:
Standard Training Package:
- Suggested maximum of 8 students/per instructor
- Client supplies computers, desktop or laptop
- Temporary licenses provided for PTV Vision Suite
software
