Providing services round-the-clock, 365 days a year, requires a professional data processing centre with a sophisticated safety system, a solid data connection and powerful servers. Regardless of whether it's a small or big company, high investments in infrastructure have to be analysed regarding cost-effectiveness. For years PTV has been operating its own professional computer centre where applications are being hosted for customers. The advantages for the customers: High-quality services are available in a short period of time requiring little maintenance and hardware resources.
PTV currently has 170 servers hosting applications for renowned companies such as DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, o2 or Falk. We have more than 30 million transactions each month. Optimal data transfer is based on a redundant 34 MB Web connection.
