VISSIM Advanced I - Signalized Control

Objective:  Develop skills for advanced VISSIM analysis

Issues:
    + NEMA Virtual Controller
    + NEMA RR Preemption*
    + Programming VAP*
        -Overview
        -Dynamic Routing
        -PT Telegrams
        -SC/Det Records
        -Trace Commands
        -Controller Communications
    + Introduction to VisVAP*
    + SC Evaluation Files
*Topics only available to VISSIM Level III or Level IV users.
(For users that have at least basic knowledge or first hand experience in VISSIM)

VISSIM Advanced II  - Specialized Applications

Objective:  Develop skills for advanced VISSIM analysis

Issues:
    + Creating 3D objects using VISSIM 3D Modeler**
    + Modeling Imports and Exports
    + Roundabouts
    + Advanced Freeway Modeling Techniques
        -Dynamic Routing and Speed Control*
        -Weaving Sections
        -Ramp Metering
        -HOV, HOT Exclusive Lanes
        -Output
*Topics only available to VISSIM Level IV users.
**Topics only available to VISSIM Level III or IV users.
(For users that have at least basic knowledge or first hand experience in VISSIM)

VISSIM Advanced III  - Transit

Objective:  Develop skills for advanced VISSIM analysis for public transport features

Issues:
    + Transit Stops & Lines
    + Passenger Model
    + Transit Signal Priority
        -NEMA Basic TSP
        -PT Telegrams
    + Bus Rapid Transit Examples
    + Light Rail Transit Examples
    + Transit Output
All topics require VISSIM Level IV.
(For users that have at least basic knowledge or first hand experience in VISSIM)

Dynamic Traffic Assignment

Objective: Learn to use the combination of both VISUM and VISSIM for corridor studies and large-scale-simulation projects.

    + VISUM Sub-area analysis
    + TFlowFuzzy matrix calibration
    + Data exchange between VISUM and VISSIM
    + VISSIM dynamic assignment
(For users that have at least basic knowledge or first hands-on experience in both VISUM and VISSIM)
